A postcard from kaliningrad, a place near Poland, in Russia. The stamp is the definitive stamps issued in 2009. And all the stamps are about Kremlins(克里姆林), meaning those complex castles found inside historic Russian cities. And the most famous one is from Moscow, therefore people often use this name to refer that one. The “1.00” one refers to Astrakhan Kremlin. The “6.00” one refers to Pskov Kremlin.
A postcard from Germany! Let’s talk about the stamp first. The stamp was released in 14 June 2012. And it is the 150th Anniversary of the German Choral Association. The German Choral Association, with 700,000 active and supporting members in more than 20,000 clubs and choirs is the world’s largest organization of music amateur. And the postcard features a comic from E. O. Plauen. The name of the comic series is called “Vater und Sohn” (Father and Son), featuring some short and funny stories between father and the son. On the back of the postcard, it prints the whole story.
I guess the story is saying, they have made a cake but they forget to put those raisins on the cake, so they use guns to shoot the cake, with raisins as bullets.

A postcard from India! This postcard shows a scene from the state of Goa, which is a popular destination among tourists for its scenic stretches of beaches. According to wiki, I guess that is why the state’s GDP is 2.5 times than the whole country one.
The right one is a stamp of C.V. Raman. He is a famous physicist from India. According to wiki, he got the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1930 for the discovery that when light traverses a transparent material, some of the light that is deflected changes in wavelength. This phenomenon is now called Raman scattering and is the result of the Raman effect. And the stamp comes from a set of definitive stamps called Builders of Modern India.
The left one seems is describing a scene from Gita Govinda(Song of Govinda) , which is a work composed by the 12th-century poet, Jayadeva. Seems this piece of work has great influence on Hinduism (印度教).
A postcard from Germany! This building is called St Bartholomew’s Church. This Catholic church is built at the side of King’s Lake, which is in a province called Bavaria in the southern part of Germany. The shape of the church is really special!
Ok Here comes three stamps. The two stamps of flowers are tulips (鬱金香) and marigold(萬壽菊). They are the definitive stamps released in 2005. The last one is a lighthouse. The series of lighthouse stamp is released in 2013.

The stamps are released in 2012, from a series of flowers and trees. The 5 ‘dollar’ one is Alnus incana – a wide range across the cooler parts of the Northern Hemisphere. The 30K one is Fraxinus excelsior (歐洲白蠟樹).
A postcard from Hamilton, a small town, but an hour time to reach the Washington DC, in Virginia in the United States of America. The postcard features a beautiful and famous painting – Cliff Walk at Pourville, from French Claude Monet. This painting now resides at the Art Institute of Chicago. This piece is one of the rare paintings in which Monet includes human beings. The stamps are so lovely! They are three lighthouses in USA, from left to right : New London Harbour, Connecticut; Fortland Head, Maine; Portsmouth Harbour, New Hampshire. A postcard from Canada, featuring a waterfall from Ontario, a province in Canada. The stamp is featuring Black bear cub, released in 2013. Seems they release different types of stamps to international letters, letter to the USA and to Canada.
Black bears are born in late January or early February while their mothers are hibernating. Black bears start off 15-20 centimeter-long, weigh about 225 grams and are bald and blind. Cubs are around 18 months old before they’re weaned and have learned what to eat to survive on their own.
